Back in March, the New Wave team stepped away from the desk and in front of the camera for our annual team photoshoot — and if you follow us on socials, you’ve probably already seen some of the results.
But now that the dust has settled (and the awkward poses are behind us), we wanted to share a little more about the day, the people behind the lens, and why these shoots matter to us.
Our First Time at SELR Studio — and We’ll Be Back
This year marked our first photoshoot at SELR Studio — and it quickly became a new favourite. The space was modern, light-filled, and perfectly aligned with the look and feel of the New Wave brand. Huge thanks to the team at @selr.studio for making us feel so welcome and creating such a professional, well-designed environment.
And behind the lens once again was Kaitlin Maree — a creative we were excited to work with for the second year in a row. If you’ve seen her work, you’ll know why. More Than Just Updated Headshots
This shoot wasn’t just about ticking a box. It was a chance to:
- Welcome new team members into the fold
- Reflect the growth across all five divisions
- Keep our brand visuals aligned with who we are today
- Capture the energy and personality that defines New Wave Group
As always, there were plenty of laughs, some questionable posing advice, and a great vibe from start to finish. We walked away with more than just great images — we walked away feeling proud of the people (and culture) we’ve built.
